Zee is a lovely older gentleman who had been coming to Greenbriar for our vet services over the years. In May of this year, Zee was diagnosed with a tear of his right cruciate ligament. After having surgery with Dr. Pooya, Zee was ready to begin his rehab journey with us in June. Laser Therapy- The Actual Facts

Last month, a long time Greenbriar regular began coming to me for laser therapy. He had begun to show signs of many classic older dog problems that materialized in weakness on his hind end, being unable to go up and down stairs, struggling to stand up from laying down, and generally losing his ability to get around well. Bailey is one of the faces we see regularly at Greenbriar. He is a very active day camper and regularly comes to ¬†use the underwater treadmill for exercise and to strengthen his muscles. However, even a dog as happy as Bailey has ups and downs, some of which found him in need for rehab services. Bailey injured his cruciate ligament, and in an attempt to avoid a costly surgery, Bailey’s mom opted to try cold laser therapy combined with rest to help heal his injury.
