Dr. Desi Kelleher, DVM
Dr. Desi Kelleher grew up in Horseheads, NY. She graduated from SUNY Oswego in 1991 with a Bachelors in Zoology then continued to receive a Masters in Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University. In 2002 she obtained her Veterinary degree at Oklahoma State University.
The first year out of school she spent at Fox Run Equine Center working on her internship. After that she worked at her mothers practice in Pennsylvania for two years as a mixed animal veterinarian. She then moved to Tennessee with her husband to practice as a mixed animal practitioner while her husband served in the military.
Their family then moved to Maryland in 2009, and live in Westminster. She and her husband have a daughter named Rory and son named Holden. They share their home with 3 cats, 2 dogs, 5 chickens, 3 rabbits a horse and pony.
Desi is very involved in her community. She is a member of the PTO and volunteers at her children’s elementary school. She also teaches Sunday school at her church and volunteers for the Carroll County 4-H program.
