Moxie’s Success Story
Moxie is a beautiful older lady who came to us after she started having some trouble getting around. She wasn’t able to get up on her own and was really having a hard time using the stairs. After her initial evaluation, we got her started on a plan made just for her that included laser, some floor exercises, and hydrotherapy. After a couple months of work, Moxie has made a real 180 degree turn around. Not only is she back to her old habits, but she has the energy and abilities to keep up with her new little brothers! Moxie is all smiles now, and who can resist that face?!
“Cannot say enough about Greenbriar, PT Specialist Erin Toman & Dr Karen Pearson. We were seeking help for our nearly 9 yr old Golden, Moxie, and her suddenly failing hips. After a quick Google search, found info on Greenbriar & their hydro- and laser therapy. Got an appt right away for a consult with Dr Pearson. So there was hope! Now I know we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover but the second we were greeted by a smiling Erin & her fabulous pink hair, it was like a breath of fresh air that told us this place is progressive! Yes!! We’ve finally found the right people! Coming from an old-school facility that often left us feeling like there had to be better technology out there, we finally felt like we’d found a place that embraces the future & must be more innovative… and we weren’t wrong! Dr Pearson & Erin wasted no time getting down on the floor with our girl, taking measurements of her flexibility & a video of her gait, to use as comparison after several weeks of therapy. Since then, Erin has taken us and our now 9 year old golden retriever from a fear of losing her to a whole new life! From a place of being nearly unable to stand or navigate the stairs to hopping right up into the car & flying up the steps! It’s been an amazing adventure & still brings tears to our eyes to see this transformation in such a short time. We can’t say enough about Erin, Dr Pearson and Greenbriar. We’re just beyond grateful to have found a way to save our girl.”
