Hurricane Irma Relief
Greenbriar Helps Displaced Dogs
Thanks to the H/3 Foundation and Humane Society International, Greenbriar Veterinary Hospital & Luxury Pet Resort is working closely with The Humane Society of the United States to help dogs displaced from St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands during hurricane Irma. There are a total of 9 dogs that were flown in and transported to Greenbriar. The dogs had been at the Humane Society of BVI, the local shelter, but that was destroyed during Irma. They survived but had no one to shelter or care for them. They will be staying here to receive necessary veterinary care, food, and love until they are able to be adopted. We will be posting updates on when and how these dogs will be adopted soon.
UPDATE: We have received 16 more dogs from the British Virgin Islands. Please follow our facebook page for more updates.
How You Can Help
We have started a GoFundMe page where ALL proceeds will go straight towards medical needs, boarding, food, spay/neuter, and anything else needed to prepare these dogs for their forever homes. Thank you for your support!
